Uni-Solar® flexible and lightweight PV panels are made exceptionally durable by encapsulation in UV stabilized polymers. Uni-Solar® PV panels can be integrated with a variety of roofing materials and are ideal for turning roofs into energy-producing assets. Panels are 15.5 inches wide and are available in three lengths from 9 to 18 feet. Each panel comes with quick-connect terminals that are designed for exterior use and are UV resistant.

Roof Types

Metal
For new metal roofs, flexible PV solar panels are applied directly onto 16 inch wide metal roofing panels prior to installation. Existing metal roofs are cleaned and primed prior to installation of flexible PV solar panels. Flexible PV solar panels are designed for flat metal roofing panels, and are not designed for use on corrugated metals.

Membrane
Roofs with existing membranes must be considered on an individual basis to determine the viability of using the existing roof as a platform for installing flexible PV solar panels. If in poor condition, or of a lower quality than is required, membrane roofs will receive new membrane prior to installation of flexible PV panels.
